2008 TADA SUMMER DANCE CAMPS

Cinderella - (4 years old)

A program created for the very special needs 4 year olds with or without previous experience. Students will have a daily 45 minute ballet class. Through the course of the week, they will discover, create and enjoy many activities related to the beautiful
ballet of Cinderella.

July 7- July 11 M-F 9:30am-11:00am
Cost for the camp is $115

The Nutcracker - (5 years old)

Dancers will be exposed to ballet technique and fundamentals, while learning the elements of dance, body awareness, simple rhythm, dance history and nutrition at an age appropriate level. Dancers will create a scrapbook of information they have learned during the week. Students will be introduced to the ballet The Nutcracker

July 14-July 18 M-F 9:30am-11:30am
Cost for the camp is $125

Sleeping Beauty - (6 years old)

Dancers will take a ballet technique class daily and be introduced to modern and jazz
dance. Dancers will create a scrapbook of information they have learned during the week. Students will study the ballet Sleeping Beauty.

July 21-July 25 M-F 9:30am-12:00pm
Cost for the camp is $125

Coppelia - (7 years old)

Dancers will take a ballet technique class daily and be introduced to modern and jazz dance. Dancers will create a scrapbook of information they have learned during the week. Students will study the ballet Coppelia.

July 7-July 11 M-F 1:00pm-4:00pm
Cost for the camp is $140

Swan Lake - (7-9 years old)

Dancers will take a ballet technique class daily and be introduced to modern and jazz dance. Dancers will create a scrapbook of information they have learned during the week. Students will study the ballet Swan Lake.

Don Quixote - (8-11 years old)

Dance should have at least one year of ballet technique. Dancers will be exposed to ballet technique and fundamentals, while learning the elements of dance, body awareness, simple rhythm, dance history and nutrition at an age appropriate level. Dancers will create a scrapbook of information they have learned during the week. Students will be introduced to the ballet Don Quixote.

Summer Dance Intensive - For Intermediate / Advanced Dances - (13 years old and up)

A camp with emphasis on Ballet, but will also offer elements of Modern, Jazz and Tap dance forms. This camp will include dance history, kinesiology, and pilates. The classes will include technique, pointe, variations, improvisation and choreography. This program is designed for dancers in Levels IA through IV.
