Private Lesson Music Programs

TADA offers lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar and Violin

 

Description

 

Students are given weekly lessons by highly trained professional instructors. Instructors have advanced degrees in their instrument and significant teaching experience. All lessons are taught at TADA. Lesson times may be arranged for thirty (30) or sixty (60) minutes. Instructors design lesson plans appropriate to your personal skill level. There is one recital opportunity at the end of each fall and spring semester. The curriculum includes development of performance skills, technique, theory and general musicianship. The fall semester is 17 weeks, and the spring semester is 18 weeks. Instructors have the option of teaching between 14-19 weeks. The summer session is 8 lessons, unless otherwise arranged with the teacher. Fees will be pro-rated if the student begins lessons after the semester start date.

Requirements

Commitment to the program is preferred for the entire year or three (3) semesters. Attendance at all lessons is expected. To ensure success, students should practice daily for at least the length of their lesson.

Tuition

Summer (June 4, 200-Aug. 17, 2007)

* (8) 60-minute private lessons $320.00

Fall (Aug. 20-Dec. 14, 2007)

* (17) 30-minute private lessons $340.00
* (17) 60-minute private lessons $680.00

Spring (Jan. 9-May 17, 2008)

* (18) 30-minute private lessons $360.00
* (18) 60-minute private lessons $720.00

Payment

Tuition is charged upfront and can be paid for the entire semester or in 5 monthly installments. We accept Visa, MasterCard American Express through Pay Pal and Check, Cash or Money Order. Please submit your payment by the 1st lesson of each month. Delinquent accounts will be accessed a $10 fee on the 2nd of the month and a $15 fee on the 8th of the month.

Practice and Cancellations

Private Lessons are scheduled appointments that cannot be subject to change.  Once an appointment time is determined, it must be kept. Private Lessons, because they are scheduled specifically for each student, must be paid for whether or not the student is able to attend for any reason.  If a teacher is forced to miss a lesson, a make-up lesson will be scheduled for a time convenient for the student.

Procedures and Guidelines

• On your first day starting classes at TADA, please introduce yourself to us at the desk. Business office hours are 3:00pm to 8:00pm Monday-Friday and Saturday, 9:00am-12:00pm.
• Please do not just drop your child off at the front door. Something may be going on inside that you should know about, or the teacher may be ill and you may not have received your voicemail or e-mail.
• Please come inside to collect your child at the end of class.  Children are not allowed to exit the front door without their parent/adult caretaker.
• If you or your child is going to miss class, call or e-mail the office please.
• If someone other than yourself is going to be picking up your child, please notify the office and have that person check in at the desk.
• During lessons, only registered students are allowed in the practice rooms. Please have family members or friends wait in the lobby area.
