2008 Student Concert Information
About Our Spring PerformanceAt the end of each school year, TADA produces a Spring Performance, featuring an original children's ballet created by Amanda Kenney and Mitsie Kraack and an original act with all other dance forms and theatre students. This concert gives students the opportunity to perform for family and friends.
All students are eligible to participate in the performance. A separate performance fee is charged to defray the costs of the performance.
Theatre Arts and Dance Alliance 2008 Spring Performance will be held Sunday, June 1, at Univeristy of South Florida, Tampa, FL 3:00-5:00pm
Our 2008 performance will be in two acts:
- Act I - Maiden By the Sea
- Act II - The WizKid, an original story based on The Wiz.
STUDIO REHEARSALS are held at the studio two weeks prior to the performance. These rehearsals, which constitute a full run-through, generally start around 5:30 PM and finish about 8:00 PM. Each class has a specific time when they have to be here. You can expect to be here for about 45 minutes. Studio rehearsals are strongly recommended but are not mandatory.
DRESS REHEARSAL is held at Univeristy of South Florida. Full costumes and makeup are required. The Dress Rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday May 31. As with the Studio Rehearsals, each class has a specific time when they have to be at the theatre. You can expect to spend about 2 hours at the Dress Rehearsal. Dress Rehearsals are mandatory. Dancers who do not attend their Dress Rehearsal, no matter the reason, will not be able to perform with their class.
